Trust Based Relational Intervention® is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. TBRI® uses Empowering Principles to address physical needs, Connecting Principles for attachment needs, and Correcting Principles to disarm fear-based behaviors. 

I offer individual or group training and can customized the training for parents, family members, churches, school/daycare workers, and more.

I offer adoptive family support for families living in most of central and southwest Florida. 

I offer in-home trauma parenting services for families living in most of central and southwest Florida. Depending on the need, it might also be possible for me to travel outside of this area.

For those who need assistance navigating the complex child welfare system, I offer consultations based on my 28 years of experience in this field. I can also assist agencies who may need assistance with new agency implementation or case reviews.

Home studies are required for every adoption, whether international or domestic, private or foster care, infant or older child. This study is a basic overview of your life - including criminal background checks, your finances and even your personal relationships. It is used by the courts to assess if a stable environment exists for a family to receive a placement.
